Kate is best known for her roles as Captain Kathryn Janeway on Star Trek: Voyager, Star Trek Nemesis, and subsequent franchise video games, and as Galina 'Red' Reznikov on Orange Is the New Black. With an award-winning career spanning four decades, Kate's breakout role was as Mary Ryan on the long-running soap opera Ryan's Hope. Film credits include Remo Williams: The Adventure Begins and Throw Momma From the Train. She has also lent her voice to several animated series including Gargoyles, Batman: The Animated Series, and most recently Infinity Train and Bravest Warriors.
