We generally do not check ID, but we might in certain cases. Please bring some form of photo ID with you to the event. (It's also just a good idea to carry ID in case of an emergency!)
CPAC has a very strict policy on weapons, implemented for the safety of our attendees and volunteers. See our weapons policy for the full details.
For more information, check out our official policies.
At a minimum, you should bring the following items to the event:
1. Your tickets, either printed out or on your phone
2. Some form of photo identification (we usually do not check ID, but might do so in certain cases; it's also a good idea to carry ID while at the event in case of an emergency).
3. A plan for food, water, and sleep! Consider bringing a bag with a water bottle and snacks.
4. Any medication or other health supplies that you may need.
Attention! Please remember the big four: 3 meals, 8 hours of sleep, 1 shower, and lots of water!
Nothing ruins the convention experience when you can't meet your favorite guest because you passed out from heat exhaustion or dehydration (it happens!). There will be water and food available throughout the convention, but everyone's situation is different. Make sure you have a plan on when you will eat, where you will shower and sleep, and where you'll be storing water.
