Is my badge transferable?
Yes, a badge can be transferred. Please send the name of the original purchaser and the name and email of the person the badge is being transferred to via email to registrationdept@whedoncon.com with the subject line "Membership Transfer.” You will then be contacted.
What is the refund policy?
Unfortunately, we are not able to offer refunds for this event. You MUST have a valid WhedonCon badge for the days(s) of the Special Events and Products you're interested in.
Why do you not offer any refunds?
Fan run conventions like ours budget for our expenses every year based on convention pre-registration; therefore, when you register for the convention, the funds you provide are allocated immediately for things like guest expenses (air travel & hoteling), publications, technical expenses (lighting and sound) and other stuff that makes our event unique (like signs and decoration). Refunding memberships may make us fall short of our expectations and our contracts, causing considerable financial concerns.
For all of our products, nothing will be shipped to you. For admission badges, autographs, photo ops, special events: Check in at our registration using your QR code on your phone or your printed receipt. You will be given your badge, and info on how to redeem your autograph, photo op, special events admission tickets. For physical merchandise (shirts, posters, etc.) : You will pick them up from our table located inside our dealers hall during normal operating hours.
By purchasing a badge/products from WhedonCon, you grant us the right to add your email address to our mailing list to keep you informed about future events and projects related to Fandom Charities Inc./WhedonCon
By attending WhedonCon, you grant WhedonCon and Fandom Charities Inc. the right to take photograph and/or video of you while at our event, and use it for advertising and promotional purposes.
