Weekend badges ($100) will be given an opportunity to upgrade while supplies last. Please note upgrades are available in limited quantities and not guaranteed to each qualified customer. All perks/rewards/benefits are subject to change at the discretion of Dream Con staff without prior notice. All issues regarding tickets should be resolved privately via email. Please direct all inquiries to [email protected]. Private and public social media correspondence regarding ticket/registration issues may result in delayed responses or limited resolution options. Resold tickets will NOT be honored for pickup at Registration under any circumstances. For pickup, all tickets require a matching valid photo ID be presented on-site/at the venue by the original/primary owner of the credential that it was issued to for regular use by the governing body. No digital/virtual identification will be permitted/authorized/accepted: The include, but are not limited to, Zoom, FaceTime, Skype, Google Meet and other video conferencing software. If an error has been made in the registered name each purchase is granted 36 hours from the transaction date/time to request a resolution. If a ticket is purchased as a gift and the original order customer does not intent to physically attend, The name of the actual person intended to use the ticket and be physically present on-site at the venue MUST have their name registered below or entry will not be granted. All upgrades and separately ticketed events can only be purchased utilizing the email submitted and associated with the original order billing information. No exceptions. It is recommended customers purchase their own tickets or provide a trusted third-party with the proper financial and identity credentials to purchase on their behalf to reduce dependency and maximize autonomy in the event their designated original purchaser is unable to attendee the event. If multiple tickets are registered solely to the name of a person unable to attend none of the tickets will be authorized for distribution/pickup on-site at the venue. It is the responsibility of the original customer to communicate these policies, procedures, protocols to the third-party they have purchased on behalf of as these are mandatory and non-negotiable and will be enforced regardless of knowledge status.
Dream Con does not recommend engaging in unofficial independent giveaways hosted by organizations (e.g. corporate brands, non-profits etc) or individuals (e.g. fans, influencers, cosplayers, streamers, content creators etc.) which have not been concurrently developed with or directly promoted by the event leadership. Organizations or individuals conducting giveaways without consulting the Dream Con leadership or the knowledge of event staff is highly not recommended. The team respects each person’s autonomy to pursue such opportunities at their own risk however exceptions to established registration policies will not be granted. All official admission badge/special ticket giveaway requests must receive written approval via both the Dream Con Partnerships and Registration departments in advance of any public announcements or solicitations. Individuals may request the opportunity to partner with Dream Con to conduct an official admission badge/special ticket giveaway with full administrative support and protections by contacting [email protected] in advance of any public announcements or releases. The event leadership must be privy to the exact details, circumstances, requirements, and parameters to ensure an official giveaway is fair, legal, and suitable for public involvement to mitigate exploitation of participants, dissemination of misinformation, unethical/grotesque self-promotion, administrative misconduct, and operational malfeasance. NOTE: Sending correspondence requesting approval or administrative support for an unofficial/unauthorized giveaway after it has been conducted without the knowledge or counsel of staff is strictly prohibited and will not be grounds for exceptions to established registration policies; this includes editing or renaming confirmations. Dream Con staff will not be held liable for failed fulfillment or improper name registration of unofficial independent giveaways. Dream Con reserves the right to deny any request without explicit disclosure.
No refunds, transfers, exchanges, or rollovers will be authorized due to customer personal circumstances including, but not limited to, illness, marriage, divorce, military deployment, change in employment status, relationship status, pregnancy etc. What is a “transfer” ? Any attempt/request to redeem or utilize a registered admission product by a different person/ third-party that was not transmitted/submitted during checkout of the original completed transaction. Admission and perks can only be used/redeemed by the registered person/name in the GrowTix system and are not transferable to anyone, including friends, children, partners, spouses, etc. Neither written consent nor video conferencing will be accepted. Approved for exhibitors, panelists, or press whose members have a sudden change of plans will not automatically able to have a third-party utilize their registration. Dream Con’s Programming team must be contacted no less than 30 days prior or the events day or an adjusted date as set by the Programming Director. If approved, fees may apply. No changes will be authorized within 14 calendar days of the event.
Upon completing admission purchases and entering the venue(s), customers/attendees consent to general photography and videography of their likeness by Official Dream Con media affiliates in common areas throughout the aforementioned venue(s). Customers/Attendees also consent to the use of this footage in perpetuity for promotional/commercial material on behalf of Dream Con unless otherwise communicated to staff via written statement prior to event.
Upon completing admission purchases and entering the venue(s), customer/attendees agree to abide by all health and safety policies, procedures and protocol including, but limited to, health, weapons etc.
There is no admission cost for children 5 and under to attend Dream Con. Up to two (2) children per paying adult will be permitted. While they do not require a badge, there may be optional wristbands available for pick-up in the Registration Area that can assist with identifying your child in the event that they wander off and get lost as a safety precaution. These attendees must remain under close adult supervision for the duration of the event by a person with a purchased badge and valid photo ID. If venue or event staff evaluates and determines that sufficient supervision is not being provided all parties may be subject to disciplinary action up to and including removal from the event/vacating the premises.
All attendees six-years-old and up are required to purchase an admission badge to take part in Dream Con and have an adult present for the initial badge pickup. For attendees 17 and younger, a valid photo ID is not required but highly recommended to ensure they can redeem their badge on-site for pickup in the event of some extreme scenarios. In the event a parent/guardian/companion who has purchased tickets on behalf of a minor attendee and is listed as the original customer on the order's billing information but can no longer attend the event to verify pickup, the minor attendees may still pick up their badges if all the following criteria are met: 1) the legal name of the minor attendee is present on the tickets, 2) the minor attendee displays a valid photo ID matching the name on the ticket and 3) a different parent/guardian/companion with a valid photo ID is present to authorize/approve the pickup. For the duration of the event after pickup, It is recommended that attendees between 18-years-old and 14-years-old remain with an adult in possession of an admission badge and valid photo ID but it is not required. All children 13 and under are required to have an adult nearby/inside the venue while attending the event incase of emergency. However. regardless of this item. a parent/guardian/companion with a valid photo ID must also be present on-site at the venue to approve pick-up of their badge(s) for all persons under the age of 18. Please note the parent/guardian/companion should be the same person from the original order / billing information. If these are two separate people BOTH need to be present to authorize distribution and pick up badges.
Acceptable forms of VALID PHOTO ID include: Driver license, Passport, Military ID, state/local government identification card etc. Other forms of ID may be acceptable if they are issued by reputable, verifiable institutions and contain the following: Legal first name, legal last name, recent photo, issue date and/or expiration date. Indication of date of birth is also recommended in the event an attendee expresses interest in age-restricted programming.
