We’ve all experienced disruptions to our daily routines as a result of the coronavirus pandemic, leaving many Utahns with a desire to return to a “new normal.” To that end, and at Governor Herbert’s request, the Utah Governor’s Office of Economic Development is pleased to announce that this year, we’re teaming up with the Governor’s Office of Energy Development, World Trade Center Utah and the Salt Lake Chamber to present a combined summit — the Utah Economic + Energy Summit.
The Summit will be held on Monday, October 26, at The Grand America Hotel with strict adherence to all CDC and local health department guidelines. As we get closer to the Summit, we’ll share how the event will accommodate current guidelines.
Tickets already purchased for both the Economic and Energy Summits are still valid for in-person or virtual attendance. You will not need to re-register for the October 26th Utah Economic + Energy Summit.
We look forward to this bigger-than-ever Summit. We’re still including the first-ever Economic Summit Startup Pitch and planning a day-long on-site event with options to view programming virtually in real-time or after the event.
The Summit will include morning and lunchtime plenary sessions, awards presentations, and morning and afternoon breakout sessions in three tracks: economic development, energy and global trade. We’ll also honor Gov. Herbert’s economic accomplishments since 2009.
We look forward to discussing the important economic and energy issues that impact the future of our great state.
Registration for the 14th Annual Utah Economic Summit Hosted by Governor Gary R. Herbert. Registration includes breakfast, lunch, networking, access to all the Summit's sessions, and parking.
